Class Description
The healthcare disparities DeCal is an interactive, interdisciplinary decal focusing broadly on problems challenging local and global healthcare. Course topics will include an overview of healthcare in America and healthcare internationally, an introduction to using python to map public health data. The course will include collaborations with the Data Science Society as well as a field study portion in which students will have the opportunity to volunteer at medical surplus redistribution organizations.
