Course Catalog Description
This course follows PBHLTH 243A as a two part series. It provides a self-contained introduction to the computational tools for Targeted Learning through it's accompanying software ecosystem, the tlverse. Each class incorporates a concise preliminary lecture, vignette-guided live coding exercises, and discussion. Students will have the opportunity to perform hands-on implementation of novel estimators for answering causal questions with real- world cross-sectional data using the tlverse software ecosystem of R packages.
