* All students will be forced to the waitlist so that pre-reqs can be manually enforced: classic CS 169 or CS W169A.

Given the high-touch nature of the course and budget constraints, enrollment will be capped around 72. There is no "hard" priority algorithm in place yet, but consent is given if you meet any of the following criteria:

You have already taken CS(W)169A or CS169 "classic" and received a B+ or better (If you took CS169 classic, we'll need to petition to get you credit for taking 169L; this will be automatic in the future)

If you are now taking CS(W)169A: B+ or better final grade including B+ or better on final project, or B or better final grade with A or A- performance on final project

If you have equivalent knowledge from either internships or courses taken elsewhere, contact the instructors for an oral or written interview to determine if you have the necessary background.

* Faculty will make decisions and give out permission codes in mid-late November.
