Course Catalog Description
A discussion of current developments and issues in public health of interest to faculty and students of the department as a whole. Content varies from semester to semester depending upon current issues and interests.
Class Description
Rules and principles for R programming, software reliability, efficiency, and scalability, writing R packages, visualization, shell scripting and linux tools, version control, interfacing R with a low-level language, database, and parallel programming. Statistical topics may include simulation-based procedures.
