Course Catalog Description

Theoretical and empirical approaches to the explanation of psychological dysfunction. The relation between theories of psychopathology and theories of intervention. A critical evaluation of the effects of individual, family, and community approaches to therapeutic and preventive intervention. Thematic focus of the course may change from year to year. See department notices for details.

Class Notes

This class will be held remotely and synchronously. This holds true for both the lecture and the discussion sections. No Time Conflict enrollment is allowed.

There will be a Final Paper in lieu of an Exam. Lectures will be recorded.

Students will no receive credit for Psychology 130 after completing Psychology N130. A deficient grade in Psychology N130 may be removed by taking Psychology 130.
