Course Catalog Description
Open-ended design project enhancing or creating software for real customers in an agile team setting. Teamwork coordination, effective customer meetings, pre- and post-iteration team meetings, running scrums and standups, technical communication. Contributing as a team to an open-source project; tools and workflows associated with open source collaboration, including fork-and-pull, rebase, upstream merge, continuous deployment & integration.

Given the high-touch nature of the course and budget constraints, enrollment will be capped around 72. There is no "hard" priority algorithm in place yet, but consent is given if you meet any of the following criteria:
You have already taken CS(W)169A or CS169 "classic" and received a B+ or better (If you took CS169 classic, we'll need to petition to get you credit for taking 169L; this will be automatic in the future)
If you are now taking CS(W)169A: B+ or better final grade including B+ or better on final project, or B or better final grade with A or A- performance on final project
If you have equivalent knowledge from either internships or courses taken elsewhere, contact the instructors for an oral or written interview to determine if you have the necessary background.
