Time conflicts will be considered on a case by case basis. Students who want to enroll in IB 131 with a time conflict should know that the class standards and expectations will be the same for all students. Students with time conflicts will be assessed in the same way as other students, and there won't be additional accommodations because of time conflicts.
Recordings of lectures will be made available to all students enrolled in the course.
Exam Policy:
There are two midterm exams and one final exam. All of the exams will be held remotely. The midterm exam will be scheduled at a lecture class time, whereas the final exam will be scheduled at the campus designated exam time. On the date of scheduled midterm time or final exam time, to accommodate students in different time zones due to Covid-19 impact and to give all students equal flexibility, the exam will be open for 24 hours. Each student is allowed one attempt on each exam, and each exam has a time limit. Once a student starts, there will be a certain amount of time to complete the exam. It is the student's responsibility to secure a consecutive two-hour time window on the designated exam date to start and finish the exam.
If you would like to request to enroll in the class with a time conflict, please complete this form to indicate you understand the expectation and assessment strategy before an exception can be approved: https://forms.gle/Pa9y2aNhLpXYGNL87
