Course Catalog Description
Fundamental dynamic data structures, including linear lists, queues, trees, and other linked structures; arrays strings, and hash tables. Storage management. Elementary principles of software engineering. Abstract data types. Algorithms for sorting and searching. Introduction to the Java programming language.

All students will enroll choosing DIS 999 and LAB 999A in calcentral. Which lab one actually attends, will be assigned/chosen near the first day of class. Look for email from the instructor and listen to the first lecture for more information & instructions.

Credit Restrictions
Students will receive no credit for Computer Science 61B after completing Computer Science47B or 61BL. A deficiency in Computer Science 61BL may be removed by taking Computer Science 61B.
